Who we are
MakanQR is an initiative by Majetika Ventures (SSM 202503305428), Malaysia. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal data you give us when you join our waitlist.
What we collect
When you fill in the waitlist form, we collect: your name, WhatsApp number, and (optionally) your stall name, state, town/city, type of stall, and any message you send us.
This website does not collect payment or bank details.
Why we collect it & your consent
We use your data only to contact you about MakanQR, plan onboarding (Sarawak vendors first), and understand the vendors who are interested. By submitting the form, you consent to us processing your data for these purposes. Your name and WhatsApp number are required to join the waitlist; everything else is optional.
Who can see it
Your data is stored securely with our database provider (Supabase) and accessed only by the MakanQR team. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until we launch and onboard you — or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you may, at any time, request access to your data, ask us to correct it, request deletion, or withdraw your consent. Just message us via the WhatsApp Support button on this site and we'll sort it out.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date above.
